There is an ancient saying: "I am because we are" - in the southern African tradition beautifully encapsulated in the word Ubuntu. It reminds us of a universal truth that as a human being we function through eachother. Nobody is born without the mother, or without the father. In our exploration into the depths of life, as challenging as it can be, we find support, remembrance and empowerment through eachother. Within music the same law applies. Music can guide us from our differences to unity, from the mind to our heart, from alone to All one. Making everything dance to the universal song of creation.
